Ambrisentan is a highly selective endothelin receptor antagonist (ETA antagonist) developed by Myogen. It specifically targets and blocks the binding of endothelin-1 to the endothelin type A (ETA) receptor.

 

1. Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) Treatment: Ambrisentan is primarily used for the treatment of PAH, including idiopathic PAH, familial PAH, and PAH associated with other conditions.
