Hesperidin is a phytochemical substance, which is classified as "bioflavonoids". It mainly exists in citrus fruits. Hesperidin alone or in combination with other Citrus Bioflavonoids (such as Diosmin) is most commonly used in vascular diseases such as hemorrhoids, various venous and circulatory disorders (venous stasis). It is also used to treat lymphedema, a disease involving fluids. Hesperidin is a flavonoid glycoside, which exists in citrus fruits. Its aglycone form is called hesperidin. Its name comes from the word "orange peel", which refers to the fruit of the orange tree.
