Naloxone hydrochloride is a white to slightly grayish white powder, which is easily soluble in water, dilute acid and strong base; Slightly soluble in alcohol; Almost insoluble in ether and chlorofor.

Naloxone hydrochloride injection can be used as a sterile solution for intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous administration. It contains 0.4 mg naloxone hydrochloride per ml. It contains 8.9 mg of sodium chloride per ml. Adjust the pH value between 3.0 and 6.5 with hydrochloric aci or sodium hydroxid. The air in the cartridge has been replaced by nitrogen.
