Function and Application

1. Thrombin is used for local hemostasis of small blood vessels or capillaries, such as hemostasis at the puncture site of heparinized patients.Surgical hemostasis is often used together with absorptive gelatin sponge for hemostasis of small vessels that are difficult to be ligated during operation and traumatic bleeding, etc.
