Tiotropium Bromide is a long-acting anticholinergic drug with the chemical name (1R,2R,4S,5S,7S)-7-[2-hydroxy-2,2-di(2-thienyl)acetyloxy]-9,9-dimethyl-3-oxa-9-azoniatricyclo[3.3.1.0²]nonane bromide. It has a molecular formula of C19H22BrNO4S2 and a molecular weight of 472.416 g/mol. This white or off-white powder is slightly soluble in water .

 

1. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Management: Tiotropium Bromide is primarily used for the maintenance treatment of COPD, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema with associated dyspnea.
