Pantoprazole sodium, also known as pantoprazole sodium, Northam, Pammel, and Pantoloc, is an anti-peptic ulcer and antacid and antispasmodic drug. Clinically, it is mainly used for the treatment of acid-related diseases, such as acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding such as duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, reflux esophagitis, acute gastric mucosal lesion complex ulcer, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, acute pancreatitis and stress ulcers.
