Studies have shown that MC has a wide range of pharmacological activities in vivo and in vitro. It can reduce collagen-induced arthritis inflammation and promote human fibrogenesis in vitro. Cell proliferation, treatment or prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids, and protection of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
