Amlodipine, with the chemical name 6-methyl-2-(2-aminoethoxy)methyl-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid 3-ethyl 5-methyl ester, is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It has the molecular formula C20H25ClN2O5 and a molecular weight of 408.879 g/mol.
